Lund, Sweden – April 25, 2023 – Fåhraeus Startup & Growth Fund II (FSG) today announces its investment in SAGA Diagnostics, a Swedish precision oncology company specialising in ultra-sensitive detection of circulating tumour DNA. The investment was made as part of a financing round led by Segulah Medical Acceleration and Hadean Ventures.

SAGA Diagnostics has developed proprietary methods to detect and measure tumour DNA in tissue and blood samples with very high specificity and sensitivity, enabling clinicians to monitor how patients respond to treatment. Founded in 2014 as a spin-out from Lund University, the company serves precision oncology and disease monitoring.
