Lund, Sweden - May 28, 2026 - Fåhraeus Startup & Growth Fund II (FSG) today announces that it has co-led a SEK 38 million Series A financing round in Evam, a Stockholm-based software company building the first true cloud-native platform for public safety organisations, alongside Industrifonden.
Evam’s platform spans in-vehicle incident management, mobile tools for frontline personnel, and a cloud backend connecting directly to control rooms. Today, the platform is used by more than 100 municipalities and regions across Sweden and the UK, supporting police, ambulance and fire and rescue services.
Public safety is one of the last major industries still operating on pre-cloud infrastructure. Legacy vendors have dominated the market for decades with fragmented on-premise systems that are costly to maintain and slow to evolve. Evam has taken a fundamentally different approach with a single-codebase SaaS platform featuring over-the-air updates, 99.99% availability, and implementation times significantly faster than incumbent solutions.
Since entering the market, the company has demonstrated strong commercial momentum, winning every competitive tender it has entered and expanding rapidly across both the Nordics and the UK.
"Evam combines a genuinely superior product with exceptional execution. The team has won every competitive tender they’ve entered and expanded internationally with a clearly scalable playbook. We believe Evam is exceptionally well positioned to become a global leader in modern public safety software," said Alexander Jöndell, Partner at FSG.
With the new capital, Evam will accelerate expansion within existing markets, continue broadening its product platform, and pursue entry into the US market, where public safety agencies face many of the same infrastructure challenges and procurement dynamics that have driven Evam’s success in Europe.
"The systems that first responders rely on every day have been fundamentally unchanged for a generation. We’ve shown that there’s a better way, a platform built around how people actually work under pressure, not around the constraints of legacy technology. FSG brings exactly the kind of founder experience and scaling expertise we need as we push further into new markets,," said Mikael Erneberg, CEO and co-founder of Evam.
